A non-permanent fire retardant chemical designed for the protection of fabric materials. Micon Fabricsayf can safely be used on natural fibre and most synthetic materials. Micon Fabricsayf is a ready to use chemical treatment utilized extensively by event managers, set designers and airlines.
OVERVIEW
Application & proven performance
On application by either hand held, backpack sprayer, or airless compressor the Fabricsayf chemical will dry to form minute crystals on the fabrics fibres. On exposure to heat, the crystals will liquefy and produce a chemical reaction combatting the effects of the fire.
Micon Fabricsayf has been tested to SANS 10177-9 and the results: “have revealed that the material did not propagate fire and tended to self-extinguished when outside the area under direct influence of the burner”.
