Micon Intusayf is a specialist intumescent coating delivering fire resistance to structural steel and combustible substrates such as cables, insulating foam, PVC pipes, and timber. Applied to the specified dry film thickness, it limits flame spread and enhances structural integrity under fire conditions.
OVERVIEW
Easy application with superior char formation
INTUSAYF can be applied by brush, roller, or airless spray on properly prepared surfaces using a Micon base coat and finished with Micon TOPCOAT. Above 200 °C, the coating softens then expands up to 40× its applied thickness, forming an insulating char that absorbs the temperature rise, extends load-bearing capacity.
